They are suprisingling useful inventions that have been known to help people. But what about the staircases that push the limits and the boundaries of human nature farther. There are some very extreme staircases that go over mountains and defy limits in beautiful and creative ways. For example, take the half dome staircase in yosemite national park. The staircase is 400 feet high and consists of cloe to 16 miles of stairs. If you make it up such a grand staircase you can experience one of the best views in the park, plenty of exercise and the air 5,000 feet above California. The Neisen Railway in Switzerland is also home to one of the most extreme staircases in the world. The railway has access stairs that reach into the clouds of the Swiss alps. With over 5,000 feet of altitude climbed in the staircase this 11,000 stair staircase is extreme in the most out of this world ways. This is also the official longest staircase in the world. This staircase in particular has a terrific view just about the whole way up. You could also just take the railway system to get to the top but if you want to be able to say that you have traveled on the longest, most extreme staircase in the world, spend some time here. These staircases are just two of many insane and extreme staircases in the world that show off the engineering and the genius behind the invention and making of staircases in some of the strangest places in the world. Hopefully you have a newfound respect for stair and the next time you walk up a flight of stairs you remember just how extreme some of the world’s craziest staircases are.
