Arapahoe Soccer Wins in First Round of 5A Playoffs

Last Friday, November 1, Arapahoe Boys Soccer defeated Rangeview High School 2-1 (OT) in round 1 of the 5A Colorado State Soccer Playoffs. Junior Aiden Kirk had the first score of the game in the 2nd half which tied the game at 1-1. The game went into overtime and junior Sam Myers scored in overtime to win the game. 

 

Senior Liam Andersen assisted in both goals and has five total assists on the season. Myers, the leading scorer on Arapahoe, scored his seventh goal of the season and Kirk scored his first. 

 

Arapahoe looks to continue their win streak with their next game against Boulder High School on Wednesday, November 6. Boulder is number 5 in the bracket and beat Mountain Vista High School in the first round 3-2. Boulder finished the year a solid 13-3 and will be a tough opponent for Arapahoe.
