The Varsity Cross Country team did great at the Championships on Wednesday 9/23. The Boys raced well and placed third in a very strong league. Like the JV girls, the varsity girls also finished in places 2-5. They were Ava Escorcia, Emily Lamontagne, Ava Mitchell, and Jordan Stead. The boys’ leaders were Mitch Lockard, Blake Hansen, Jayden Thulson, and Cameron Perdew. Other honors- 1st Team All- League: Ava Escorcia, Emily Lamontagne, Ava Mitchell, and Jordan Stead. 2nd Team All- League: Mitch Lockard. 

     Regionals- In order to compete in the State Championships on Thursday October 8th, our teams need to finish in the top 3 in our region (5A Region 1). Congratulations to the following runners who earned an opportunity to continue racing and representing our school and program in the Championship races: Boys- Black Hansen, Mitch Lockard, Cameron Pedrew, Dylan Schafer, Jayden Thulson, and Finn Voss; with Johnny Forbes and Henry Greenwood as alternates. Girls- Anna Bridges, Mia Cardello, Ava Escorcia, Emily Lamontagne, Ava Mitchell, and Jordan Stead; with Megan Bergstorm and Carly Perdew as alternates.
