Which Console is Better? PlayStation – XBOX
December 7, 2020
The writers of this article have different viewpoints on the next-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X)
Xbox’s most recent console, the Xbox Series X is a statement from the microsoft company. This beast of a console, coming in at $499, is officially the most powerful console ever. Thanks to its great build, quick boot time and AMD Zen 2 processor, 12-teraflop AMD RDNA 2 GPU, and custom NVMe SSD The Xbox is powerful enough to run games at 120 frames per second. The Xbox also has the ability to stream videos at a resolution of 8k. Microsoft future-proofed their console with longevity in mind making it more powerful then it will ever need to be.
The 120 frame limit is currently only on a few games because there are very few console games that can run at 120 FPS (Frames Per Second). Xbox expects to have more of these games come out quickly to maximise the power of their newest console.
The newly designed interface allows easy travel through this new console. With a very quick boot time and an easy interface, this console makes waiting for games to load a thing of the past.

Xbox sure is putting up a bit of a fight against Sony’s newest console, the PS5.
That is some tough competition, in fact now let me show you what PlayStation has in store themselves. With a GPU of AMD RDNA 2 GPU 36 CUs @ 2.23GHz and 16GB GDDR6 ram, the PS5 is right behind the Xbox in specs but that is not the selling point. With amazing games and franchises exclusive to PlayStation including God of War and Spider Man, PlayStation dominates Xbox in terms of exclusive games.
Xbox has exclusives but they are old and outdated. They have possibly the most renown franchise as an exclusive in Halo but it’s outdated now, old news. With new games that have better graphics and gameplay old games don’t sell. People want what’s hottest on the market at the moment.
