Andrew: What’s up owen! I’m looking forward to skiing with you this season. Let’s introduce ourselves a little bit, and talk about our favorite parts about skiing. To start, how long have you been skiing? 

Owen: What’s up Andrew! I’m super stoked for this season as well. Just waiting for the snow. Ya, i’ve been skiing since I was 2 years old and have been in love with it ever since. I grew up skiing Copper Mountain. What about you?

Andrew: I’ve been skiing since I was 2 as well. Shredding in diapers! I grew up skiing, and never quit. It’s my favorite thing in the entire world. I grew up skiing at Keystone, but my favorite place to ski is at Vail. Where’s your favorite place to ski?

Owen: My favorite place I’ve ever skied is Crested Butte, but I ski Vail more often. I skied at Crested Butte last February, and it was by far the best snow I’ve skied on.

Andrew: That’s awesome man! Crested Butte is sweet! Moving on, what is your favorite terrain on the mountain?

Owen: Aw man that’s a hard question to answer. But I have to say trees. It’s fun to go fast, and make tight turns, and especially with a lot of risk involved. What about you?

Andrew: Dude that’s the best feeling. I’m gonna have to say powder. I love being able to throw down any trick, and land on what feels like a thousand pillows. Being in the backcountry, and floating on untouched powder feels like heaven. 

Owen: That’s wicked! We definitely need to go backcountry skiing this winter. Hopefully there’s enough snow for that to happen this winter.

Andrew: Honestly man. I’m a little worried about the snowfall this season. It’s been very very dry so far. I can’t believe it’s already December, and there is barely any snow! Hopefully after Christmas, we get dumped on. 

Owen: Ya that would be ideal, especially after all the new gear I’m hopefully getting for Christmas. Speaking of gear, what’s your setup looking like this year?

Andrew: Ya, this year I’ve got the Faction Candide 2.0 skis. 102 underfoot. Great for everything on the mountain. For binding I have the Look pivot bindings in forza color. For boots I have the 2013 Seth Morrison Full Tilts. I love em. And I have blue bamboo poles. I have Wells Lamont x Level one mittens, Oakley line miner goggles, Giro helmet, and North face pants and Jacket. What do you got this year?

Owen: Oh man that is a rad setup! This year I’m using my Rossignol Smash 7s, Nordica boots, Salomon bindings and my bamboo poles. I got a new Montec jacket and North Face pants. I’ve got a Smith helmet, Oakley goggles, and Kinco mittens. I’m so stoked to shred the mountain with you this year!

Andrew: That’s awesome. It’s gonna be a sweet year!
