Pressing Play on Deliberate Acts of Love and Kindness

Max Geise and Jake Reed

There is something brewing in Arapahoe this winter, and it isn’t just students’ anxiety over final projects and exams. The Arapahoe administration and Student Council, in cahoots with other student-run clubs, have introduced the Deliberate Acts of Love and Kindness campaign. The idea is that December is probably the most stressful month in a student’s life, and deliberate acts of love and kindness can take some of the edge off. Student Council members hope that the Deliberate Acts of Love and Kindness campaign can change some of the stress and anxiety into a productive way to make everyone feel a little bit better this season.

Along with the rest of the clubs at Arapahoe, Spear broadcasting has been helping out with the campaign. As a media enterprise, Spear members have been producing a series of silent videos that have been playing around the school in order to spread publicity. Unfortunately, there have been some technical difficulties and lagging between the videos and the TV screens, so here is the whole series at full speed. We think they’re pretty good.
