Q: How many years you have played volleyball and what teams and include middle school if you did?

A: 7 years. 6th 7th 8th grade at Powell. Freshman team, 5280 club. Sophomore team, 5280 club, JV team Rocky Select club. Varsity, Rocky Select Club

Q: Favorite team/rival and why?

A: I really like playing Grandview. Ever since freshman year I take each game against them so hard, because they are just about even with our playing skill. To see who comes out on top is so gratifying.

Q: Favorite pro player or someone you look up to and why?

I really like Destiny Hooker, the outside hitter on the U.S. national team. I aspire to have her height, skill and passion for volleyball.

Q: Advice to younger players?

A: NEVER EVER LET ANYONE TELL YOU YOU AREN’T GOOD ENOUGH. I have faced so many coaches who don’t believe in me but it never stopped me.

Q: Favorite quote/bible verse?

A: From Mr. Brandberg, “There is nothing bad through which good cannot come”

Q: 3 favorite things (candy, color, state, etc)?

A: My dogs Orion and Pepper, Sour Patch Watermelon, and my favorite color is teal.

Q: Why should people come out to watch the team?

A: We need the encouragement from the crowd, They really lift us up and keep us playing. Also, Volleyball is just fun to watch in general.
