What art student doesn’t want a fun, creative, risky, and competitive environment to experiment in? The Failure Lab at the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art is the perfect example of this type of program. Made up of twelve high school students from various backgrounds and schools, the Failure Lab encourages members to risk failure in sight of creating art pieces made for exhibitions.

After a three-part application system, students accepted into Failure Lab will work closely with artists not only creating, but learning more about contemporary art made by artists featured in the museum. Failure Lab runs September through May and meets every Wednesday from 4-6pm. Anyone with art appreciation and is interested in art is welcome to apply. May 9th is the application deadline, so take a chance and join the wild side and never forget to challenge failure.
