“The Accountant” is an action movie with a star studded cast including, Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, and Jon Bernthal. During opening weekend the film accumulated $24.7 million.

The film has a fantastic plot and opens with the audience wondering many questions and asking where this film is going. Ben Affleck plays a man whose name is Christian Wolff and has high functioning autism. This character grows up with his brother and father. While he grows up he is forced to learn to deal with things he is sensitive to like loud noises and bright flashing lights. As an adult he works as a CPA to cover up his real life as an accountant for dangerous criminal organizations.

When the cast has to interact with each other the chemistry between them is so great and each scene flows so well and is so intriguing. It’s also almost empowering to see a man with a disorder become this great mathematician and accomplish so much in his life, even if it is working for criminal organizations.

The movie has lots of different elements that make it entertaining. It has humor, action, some romance, suspense, and intensity. With all of these elements almost everyone can find enjoyment in it.

Overall “The Accountant” is an exciting and will have you at the edge of your seat throughout the duration of the movie.
