Arapahoe Boys Soccer defeated Aurora Central 3-1 in the first round of the 5A tournament. Reid Conant and the Warriors got off to a quick start, finding the net in the first minute of the Thursday afternoon match-up. On a free kick, the Arvada goal keeper punched the shot away from goal, deflecting off the face of Conant and into the net. Sophomore Cameron Gail added another goal on a penalty kick set up by a penalty on a try by Reid Conant in the 61st minute. Aurora Central rallied back to make it a one point game with a goal in the 73rd minute, however, Noah Anthony put the game out of reach with a late goal to make it 3-1.
