The Arapahoe Warriors play the (4) Grandview Wolves at Littleton Public Schools Stadium Friday at 7:00 pm. This is both team’s fourth in conference matchup and a very important game for both sides.

The Wolves are coming off a 65-27 victory over the Doherty Spartans, a team Arapahoe lost to a couple weeks ago. At 7-1 they have set themselves up with a shot at the title. They have one loss and that is to undefeated Eaglecrest. They are one of the most feared teams in Colorado 5a football. They set up to be a very tough opponent for a desperate Arapahoe squad.

The Warriors at 4-4 are coming off a commanding victory over Boulder. Although their record is not impressive they are right on the bubble of making the playoffs because of the toughness of their schedule. They are ranked 26th in the state in RPI. The top 16 teams make it to the playoffs. The Warriors must beat Grandview and Smoky Hill to even have a chance at the playoffs. Although this task is daunting, a passionate group of Warriors Seniors do not plan on losing on Senior Night.

The Warriors face their toughest task of the year against the Wolves, but this team is inspired to repeat on last years upset victory over Grandview tonight. Expect an all out battle. Warriors win 27-24.
