QB #1 College Search
January 20, 2017
As the football season came to a close, the recruitment process began for the senior players looking to play next year. For Arapahoe’s quarterback, Connor Desch, he began to create his highlight tape and talk to college coaches. Connor put up impressive stats of passing for 1483 yards with 11 total touchdowns. He was the offensive MVP for the team and was second team all conference.
After the season Connor, with help from head coach Mike Campbell and his quarterback trainer Tim Jenkins, began his college search. Connor began to talk to schools from all across the country. Mostly only division 2 schools have reached out to Connor but he is still waiting for a big school to contact him. His first offer came from Western State University in Gunnison, Colorado. Connor went for his official visit and said, “It was a good experience and exciting to see a school from a player’s perspective”. Connor has close ties with Western State because his father went and played for Western State from 1987-1990.
Connor Desch has not decided what school he plans to attend in the Fall of 2017. He is excited that he will have an opportunity to continue his football career for the next four years.
