Although the Warriors are ranked tenth according to CHSAA, they still have a number one mentality. Heading into the final stretch of the regular season, the Warriors have come out with an impressive 10-3 record against an array of tough opponents. Next week, their difficult road will not get any easier as they take on #2 ranked Regis and #3 ranked Mountain Vista. Coming off of nine straight wins, Arapahoe heads into a tough last week with plenty of confidence.

Currently, Arapahoe sits in second place in the Centennial league right behind Cherry Creek who is ranked first in the state. This position will put them in a good spot to make a deep playoff run and pursue their goal of winning a ring. Although there has been tremendous contribution from players all across the team, there are a few standout players that have played major roles to get the Warriors where they are now. Jake Hall, sophomore, is leading the team with 28 goals, which is the fourth most in the whole Centennial League. Next is Chase Douglas, senior, with 18 goals, and a team leading 12 assists. Arapahoe will need these two to continue their dominance if the Warriors are going to win their next two games, which are arguable their toughest of the season.

A tough loss to Creek and two out of state losses versus some of the top teams in the nation out of California are no reason to worry about whether or not the Warriors are capable of winning out and making a statement in the playoffs. They are currently hot and are starting to click at the right time. Stay tuned for the next few weeks so can stay updated on the Arapahoe Warriors boys’ lacrosse team and their pursuit of a ring.
