It is sad to report that a Gunman has fired at thousands of people attending a music festival on the Las Vegas Strip last night. In this disturbing event, the known amount of deaths are at 58 and over 515 injuries. The shooter is reported dead as well. From what we know the man has been identified as Stephen Paddock. He was 64, a male who is a resident of Nevada. A few news outlets have said that ISIS claimed responsibility but FBI Las Vegas Special Agent in Charge, Aaron Rouse, said today that the agency has “determined, to this point, no connection with an international terrorist group.”

Police say Paddock fired down at the crowd of more than 22,000 people from his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. A SWAT team used an explosive to breach the room. When police entered the room they found the suspect dead most likely from killing himself. The police said they found up to 10 “rifles” (non-specified weapons) in Paddocks room.

The shooting has been called the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. With this event that has came from no where and has disturbed this nation as a whole we should not argue with what action needs to be done now but come together and get all the facts right. We should understand the most important thing before action which is why did Paddock do this. But before we learn we must heal. So it doesn’t matter if your beliefs don’t match someone else help matters more than that today.
