On Tuesday January 11th, 2018, the LPS Heritage Varsity hockey team faced Resurrection Christian High School in an exciting game. The story of the game was definitely the defense for both teams. The first period ended with no score on either side. However, both teams were able to score in the second tying it up 1-1 at the intermission. Finally, it was Heritage that was able to get around Resurrection’s defense to score two more goals making the final score 3-1. Heritage is currently ranked one of the top ten teams in the state.

Heritage’s next Varsity home game is on Saturday, January 27th at South Suburban Ice Rink against Battle Mountain High School. The JV team plays at home (Ice Ranch) on Monday, January 15th at 5:30 pm against Rampart.
