This Wednesday your Lady Warriors basketball team takes on Cherokee Trail. This matchup is very important for playoff seeding.

The Warriors are 13-8 and coming off of a dominate 80-33 win over Smoky Hill. They are trying to build off of that win. They will look for Senior Maggie Wortman to make a big impact as she is the Warriors leading scorer. They are amped up and ready to make a playoff run. They are ranked 19th in the state currently but want to get higher before the playoffs start.

Cherokee Trail is coming off of a 56-46 win over Mullen. This game is important for the 8-13 Cougars as they are fighting for a playoff spot. They need this win over Arapahoe.
