The Arapahoe girls basketball team opens up there 2018-2019 season November 30th at Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. The Lady Warriors will go against the 7th ranked Ralston Valley Mustangs. Who are coming off a rough 79-35 loss against last years 5A state champion Grandview.

The Lady Warriors are coached by Jerry Knafelc entering his 8th season as head coach. Knafelc has posted a career record of 138-61. Giving him a 0.693% winning percentage. Knafelc has taken the Lady Warriors to a final four appearance during the 2012-2013 basketball season.

Last year the Lady Warriors posted a 17-9 record with a league record of 10-4. The Warriors made it to the third round of the playoffs losing to 3rd seeded Horizon 56-35. Who was defeated by Regis Jesuit in the next round of the 5A playoffs.

This Arapahoe team consists of four seniors (Grace Cadorette, Eliana McClarie, Sienna Golden, Nelly Alger). Grace Cadorette and Eliana McClarie are the captains this season. Eliana McClarie is currently ranked as the 5th shooting guard in the state of Colorado. Last season she averaged 10.1 points per game(PPG) and 3.2 rebounds per game(RPG). Eliana’s career points scored is currently 391. Hoping to increase that career total to 400 career points November 30th vs. Ralston Valley.
