Arapahoe Cheers take 3rd at League

On Wednesday night, every cheer team in the Centennial League met at Sitting Eagle Gymnasium for the League championship event. Backed by a large Warrior crowd, Arapahoe Varsity Cheers (led by captains Hannah Wood, 12; Zoie Baker, 12; Marlo Cheever, 12; and Gigi Ruggiero, 12) placed 3rd overall, behind Eaglecrest and Grandview. Junior Varsity likewise came in 2nd.

The state championship for cheer will be hosted on Dec. 9 and 10 at the Denver Coliseum, where the Warriors are anticipated to fight competitively for a high ranking.
