2020 Girls Swim and Dive State Championship Update
When and Where: At 5:00 on February 13, Arapahoe Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving took on some of the best swimmers at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in the 5A State Swim and Dive Meet.
What Happened: Arapahoe was represented by 17 swimmers and 2 divers. After the preliminary round, there are 9 girls headed to finals. The 200 freestyle relay (Anna Wetzel, 12, Ashley Tellinger, 11, Ryan Johnston, 9, Lyndsey Wehr, 11) took fifth in preliminaries with a time of 1:36.26 and are headed to finals. The 400 freestyle relay (Lindsey Louder, 9, Megan Bergstrom, 11, Mirielle Griffin, 11, Lyndey Wehr, 11) will also be competing in finals after a time of 3:33.66. The 200 Medley Relay (Anna Wetzel, 12, Lindsey Louder, 9, Ryan Johnston, 9, Marina Huster, 10) had a time of 1:47.18 which was good enough to send them to the Final Round.
