Road to State: Boys Soccer
Eva Loring and
Arapahoe Boys Soccer won 3-0 last night in the first round of playoffs at LPS Stadium against the Castleview Sabercats. The 8th ranked Warriors came out strong as they had majority of the possession and won the ball back as soon as it was lost. Cam Gail scored early in the first half off of a volley that soared over the keeper. The second goal came not far after from Zander Hahn’s corner kick that was deflected off a Sabercat player into the back of the net. Adam Hangland sealed the deal with a third goal. With strength in the back from Spencer Cobb, he kept the ball out of the final third by winning balls in the air and saving dangers one v one opportunity for the Sabercats.
Looking forward, boys soccer strives for a Round 2 win against the 9th ranked Arvada West Wildcats at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 31st at LPS Stadium. Good luck Warriors!
