Homecoming dress-up days and events

Mathlete Monday! The one day being a nerd is cute, fun and cool. Come to school in your smartest outfit. Girls and boys can both rock polo shirts with nerd glasses. There is even the opportunity to throw in some high-waisted pants with suspenders. If you are feeling inspired by your ultra-nerdy day, attend the talent show at 7:00 p.m. in the theatre to see Arapahoes’ most talented students and be the first to know the turnout for homecoming royalty. Tickets are five dollars.

Come on and get your comic-con on this Tuesday! Dress up as your favorite character from a movie, show or video game. Anything from Spongebob to Superman! However, you may want to save one of your dress-up costumes for Trick or Treat day on Thursday.

Wednesday is the notorious and traditional Wacky Tacky day, and it is super fun to see everyone dressed up in crazy, mismatched, goofy clothes. On Wednesday, matching plaid with stripes or wearing bright clashing colors is cool. You do not want to miss this dress-up day. Another thing you do not want to miss is the DECA BBQ at 5:30 p.m. right before the bonfire at 6:30 p.m. Both are located on the baseball field on the north side of the school.

Costume day round two: Trick or Treat, brings a great opportunity for any student to explore their creativity and mess around will all sorts of costume ideas. This costume day goes along with the theme of homecoming this year, Halloween Town, so make sure to show your enthusiasm for homecoming this year!

On Friday, juniors and freshman wear gold, and seniors and sophomores wear black. Be prepared for screaming senior girls in the hallway on Friday morning; do not worry they will not hurt you. Make sure to wear your colors and go all out for the assembly.
