When quarantined most people retreated to watching many series of netflix shows. Teenagers and young adults alike have shown strong opinions towards certain shows and we plan to dive deeper into it. Here are the 5 best tv shows to watch when your favorite show is over, according to a recent survey.

5. Stranger Things

Stranger Things begins when a young boy named Will (Noah Schnapp) goes missing. A group of his teen friends,Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), go searching for Will and try to solve and unlock the mystery at hand . Once going deeper into investigations the team finds a very strange abnormal girl, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), that the government has been using for testing. Fun fact: the show is based on a real time travel project and conspiracies about the government directing experiments on children.

4. Teen Wolf
Teen Wolf is an American supernatural teen drama series which is loosely based on the 1985 film of the same name. Tyler Posey portrays Scott McCall, a young werewolf who defends his town from supernatural creatures and other threats. The series premiered on June 5, 2011, and concluded on September 24, 2017, after six seasons. Teen wolf won three Saturn Awards for Best Youth-Oriented Television Series.

 

3. Riverdale
Based on Archie Comics, Riverdale follows a small group of teenagers unravel the dark secrets and mysteries of their town. The small town of Riverdale is turned upside down after it is struck with the mysterious death of Jason Blossom. Archie Andrews, portrayed by KJ Apa, explores the struggles with the everyday life of a teenager while also taking on the haunting case of Jason Blossom. Some other notable characters apart from the series include Betty Cooper portrayed by Lili Reinhart, who is an old friend of Archies who seems to take somewhat of an interest in him. Veronica Lodge, portrayed by Camila Mendes, a rich girl who moves to Riverdale from New York. And lastly, Jughead Jones, portrayed by Cole Sprouse, a kid who grows up on the other side of the tracks and takes interest in mystery and writing.

 

2. The Vampire Diaries
The Vampire Diaries follows the life of Elena Gilbert, played by Nina Dobrev. The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged with supernatural beings and history. Elena falls in love with Stefan Salvatore played by Paul Wesley, a 162-year-old vampire.The twos relationship becomes complicated when Stephans older brother Damon Salvatore, played by Ian Somerhalder, returns with a plan to bring back their past love Katherine Pierce.

 

1. Gossip Girl
Gossip Girl observes the lives of privileged teenagers who are no strangers to being stalked by an online blogger. Serena Van Der Woodsen, portrayed by Blake Lively, is a well known socialite who grows confused when her boyfriend Nate Archibald portrayed by Chace Crawford acts odd when she comes home from boarding school. Another notable character is Blair Waldor, portrayed by Leighton Meester, is Serena’s best friend, another golden girl of New York. The show follows these teens and their chaotic, yet luxurious lives, all through the lens of the unknown, “Gossip Girl”.
