Breckenridge ski resort announced on Sunday that every lift, and run is open for the season.

This has been a long time coming. After a slow start to the season getting little to absolutely no snow.

Snow started coming down, more, and more, and more! Breck didn’t start to get snow until late December and early January. After getting a ton of snow, things started opening up more and more.

The highest lift in North America, Imperial Express Superchair, opened on Sunday, January 10th. At that point about 122/187 runs were open(65% of the terrain).

Since then, Breckenridge has only gotten more and more snow. Back in early January, Breckenridge had 122 inches of snow. Since then, Breckenridge has gotten 44 new inches of snow making the total for this season, 166 total inches with more coming!

Breckenridge had 186/187 runs open(99% of terrain) for a couple of weeks. The only run that was closed was Snow White accessible by going to the top of Peak 8, and going past the lake chutes. It finally opened on Sunday making every run open in Breckenridge marked as open.

With everything open people could not be more pleased. But the only question is, How much more snow will we get to make the Ski Season even better?
