The girls basketball team improved to 15-4 on the season with a easy win coming against non-league opponent Palmer high school on Monday night, February 9th. The game was a make-up from early in the season, when Palmer could not make it down to Centennial due to a snowstorm. Jennah Knaflec scored 28 points, her highest total of the season, in the 66-37 routing of the inferior Palmer Terrors.

The Warriors are on the road for the rest of the week diving back into league play squaring off against the Overland Trailblazers on Wednesday the 11th, and the Buffaloes of Smoky Hill on Friday the 13th. Both of these games are expected to be easy wins for the red-hot ladies, but with Mardi Gras and Friday the 13th looming, you can never be too careful.

With only five game remaining on the schedule, the push for a league title and a high seed in the state tournament, there is a ton at stake for the girls. They stand now at 3rd in the league, but with big games still to come in the likes of Cherry Creek and Cherokee Trail, anything can happen.
