Suicide Squad isn’t as bad as you think.

Suicide Squad Movie Review
Suicide Squad is one of the newest installments in the DC movie universe. This takes place after Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. Man of Steel was good while Batman v Superman was pretty bad. So it was very exciting to see how this movie turned out. In my opinion, I thought Suicide Squad was a good movie. The acting was excellent. I felt involved with all of the characters, and I thought it was funny. Despite the reviews on the website Rotten Tomatoes at 27% it is actually well done. Plus the general public says it as 75%. Which is a pretty good movie.

Suicide Squad is about a group of villains from DC comics who work together to do good. These villains include Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Joker (Jared Leto), and several more. Most of the characters with the exception of a few are interesting. Bringing in a whole new cast of characters. Which they did wonderfully to make everyone interesting within the time restraints of the movie.

The main characters of the movie are Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Amanda Waller. These characters and a lot more are trying to do some good in the world when an evil threat tries to take over the world. The plot in this movie is, unfortunately, a bit lackluster and all over the place. Which makes the movie unfocused but the plot is still there.

It’s music in this film is great. Featuring songs like Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen), Sucker for Pain (Imagine Dragons, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa), and Heathens (21 Pilots). It is such an impressive soundtrack. They also incorporate the music in the film wonderfully.

Some of the flaws in the movie are perhaps that the rating should have been rated R. As well as the editing was choppy. Some of the story elements are not fully flushed or are missing some elements. Other than these couple of flaws it is a well-done movie. The movie was overall, I would say Suicide Squad is a B+. Just a really fun movie with an average story, interesting characters, diverse settings, and a great soundtrack to improve the mood of the film.
