Falcons Take Flight Against Warrior Lady Hoops

On Thursday, Dec. 7 the Arapahoe Girls Basketball varsity team faced the 7th ranked Highlands Ranch Falcons, leading to a massive blowout of 62-27. The Falcons dominated both ends of the court, with continuous scoring and stout defense, proving their prestigious rank within the state.


Eliana McClarie, 11, led the Warriors from deep with 3 3PM, and 12 points overall. Otherwise, scoring was far and few between, as McClarie tallied almost half of the Warriors’ total points. Kali March, 10, led with 2 steals; however, the Warriors gave up the ball far more often with 26 total turnovers.

Looking Ahead:

After last night’s game, Arapahoe falls to a record of 2-3, while Highlands Ranch stays strong at 4-1. This game marked the 600th win of Highlands Ranch’s coach Caryn Jarocki’s career. The next game for the Warriors will be at Ralston Valley on Dec. 12.
