On Thursday night the Warriors took down Douglas County by a score of 52-6. The game wasn’t much of a competition  from the beginning as the Warriors improve to 4-1 on the year.

The game opening drive finished with a touchdown from receiver Jalen Thomas. Touchdowns followed by Jake Hansen, Kevin Lukasiewicz, Payne Stiteler, Jaden Schmeling, Cody Stoltz, and Connor Benson scored twice. Quarterback Kevin Lukasiewicz was pulled from the game in the second quarter to give some of the younger players experience. Jaden Schmeling and David Craig replaced him.

This is a much needed win for Arapahoe. They face Cherokee Trail next week, who is currently undefeated. That will be a season defining game, and luckily the Warriors will have some extra rest going into that game.

The Warriors face their biggest challenge yet this week. Cherokee Trail is 5-0 and Arapahoe is 4-1. It is a much watch game this friday at LPS Stadium at 7 p.m.
